Treatments at Vena Cura

Our clinic offers the complete spectrum of proven varicose vein treatments, from gentle injections and medical adhesive to advanced surgical removal.

Sclerotherapy

A minimally invasive procedure where a special solution is injected directly into small or medium-sized veins. This causes the vein to collapse and gradually fade from view. Sclerotherapy is most often used for spider veins and small varicose veins, and requires no anesthesia or downtime.

VenaSeal

A state-of-the-art treatment using a medical adhesive to seal problematic veins. Blood is naturally rerouted to healthy veins, relieving symptoms such as heaviness, swelling, and fatigue. VenaSeal™ is virtually painless, requires no heat or general anesthesia, and allows you to resume normal activity immediately.

Surgical Treatments

For larger, symptomatic varicose veins that are too big or twisted for sclerotherapy or VenaSeal™, surgical treatments may be recommended. Vein stripping or phlebectomy (removal of the affected vein through small incisions) are typically performed under local or general anesthesia. Recovery may take a few weeks, but results are long-lasting.

Choosing the right treatment for your vein condition depends on several factors, including the type, size, and location of your veins, as well as your symptoms, medical history, and personal preferences.

During your consultation, your doctor will carefully evaluate your veins—often using an ultrasound—to understand the underlying cause of the problem. They will then explain all available treatment options, including their benefits, limitations, and potential risks, and help you select the approach that is safest, most effective, and best suited to your needs.

This personalized guidance ensures that your treatment plan is tailored specifically to you, helping achieve the best possible results for both your leg health and appearance.
